Wang Jun, male, Han nationality, is a native of Henan province. He was born in 1958, started to work in 1976 and joined the CPC in 1977. He graduated from the Government Administration School of Beijing University, and obtained a doctorate in law. He served as director-general of the general office of the Ministry of Finance until 2003, and he was promoted as vice-minister in 2005 and served in that capacity until 2013.
He was an alternate member of the 18th CPC Central Committee and in 2013 he became Director of the State Administration of Taxation. He is a member of the 19th CPC Central Committee.
